Patient stories
In their own words.
Some patients come to me for an APD evaluation or tinnitus work. Others — already wearing hearing aids fitted elsewhere — reach out for a second opinion, or just for advice they can trust. Both are welcome here. These are a few of their words.

Adult APD diagnosis & treatment
"When I was first diagnosed, in adulthood, with an auditory processing disorder I felt a little bit embarrassed and self-conscious — wondering what I might have been missing that others noticed and I didn't. Dr. Kaitlyn never made me feel “lesser-than” or “defective.” In fact, every assessment and treatment has felt comfortable, supportive, and completely non-judgmental. I always feel at ease asking questions, and honestly telling her when my brain and ears are not hearing the sounds they should be.
Dr. Kaitlyn is incredibly knowledgeable, and is able to explain information so it actually makes sense, without ever making you feel overwhelmed or talked down to. I trust that the information she provides is accurate, and have been consistently pleased with the results of working with her. I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for an audiologist who is both highly skilled and genuinely caring."

Second opinion · trusted resource
"I have a profound hearing loss and have worn hearing aids in both ears for several years. While I have good people I've worked with as audiologists and hearing instrument specialists, I often reach out to Kaitlyn to get a second opinion about things related to my hearing loss and aids.
Kaitlyn always gets right back to me promptly, answers my questions directly and on point, and often provides insights or suggestions I hadn't thought of for me to consider. It is reassuring to have her as a trusted resource and source of advice when I need more information, or just to confirm, challenge, or expand upon what my hearing professionals have advised."
